THREE DAYS OF PHRAGMITES CUTTING

What to bring: boots if you will work cutting in the stream (some are available), hedge clippers, insect spray, water. We’ll provide working gloves, barrels and bags

Our goal is to clear the phragmites in the herring run stream up to the area cleared earlier by the 40 steps. Cutting back the phragmites needs to happen on a yearly basis in order to (finally) slow and stop their growth and clogging of the herring run.
